Spring Bash + Splash is the Perfect Way to Finish Off the Season!

The sun is out and temperatures are warming up, but that doesn’t mean the season is over! Spring skiing is the perfect way to roll all your favourite activities into one: shredding down the mountain, après ski, hanging out on patios, live music, and so much more. Winter Park Resort presents Spring Bash + Splash in April with a ton of events to make the end of the ski season magical.

March 31-April 1 is for the kids! All day Saturday and Sunday kids can join the fun on the Duel Obstacle Course or try their best at the 5k Hippity Hops snow race. On Sunday, be on the hunt for Easter eggs and check out the Golden Bunny Kids’ Race.

On the first full weekend of April (April 7-8), be sure to check out TheBigWonderful weekend, a festival featuring beer, live bluegrass music, and a one of a kind market. The base of the resort will be full of fun activities, vendors, and beer samples all weekend long. There will also be family-friendly activities available so everyone can join in on the fun!

The second weekend of April is Beach Weekend, 2 tropical themed days of fruity drinks, ukeleles, and maybe a pool floatie or two! Catch the High Noon Duel with skiers and riders performing their best tricks in their craziest Hawaiian shirts, and then make it down to the base for another live concert to cap off the day.

April 21-22 is Throwback Day, so dig up your wackiest 80s clothes or coolest 90s outfit and hit the slopes looking like something out of a time capsule! Saturday will feature a scavenger hunt, bounce castle, and face painter, plus another live concert to keep the good times going. Sunday is the annual Spring Splash presented by Monster Energy, where from 12-3pm you can watch skiers and riders whip over and around obstacles on the Larry Sale trail race course and then attempt to skim across an icy pond to the finish line. Quite a splash indeed!

Like we said, there are so many incredible events at Winter Park this April, so even if you can only make it for a short while, you can still experience the awesome fun of Spring Bash + Splash!
